We all have doubts.
Thomas just couldn't believe until he actually touched the resurrected Jesus.
We don't have that luxury. But, what we do have is a mountain of history & archaeology & testimonies. We have the blood of martyrs & the witness of the earliest followers of Jesus preserved in the Scriptures.
This Easter we are going to launch a new series about the first century accounts of Jesus of Nazareth.
Jesus has been called a prophet, a rabbi, a revolutionary, a miracle worker, a religious zealot, & an uneducated peasant. Thomas would call Him, "My Lord & my God."
If you struggle with doubts, this series is for you. We'll look at the evidence of history & Scripture to unpack the question: Who is Jesus of Nazareth?
If you consider yourself a Christ follower, this series is for you. We'll look at Jesus through the lens of history & culture & politics & eyewitness accounts, so that we might follow the Jesus of history & not the blond haired, blue-eyed Jesus of our imaginations.
Wherever you are at in your journey with God, I hope that this series will help you examine for yourself the life & times of Jesus.
