To be used by God in reaching people and developing them into fully devoted followers of Christ

vision
Those of us who know Jesus Christ know what it’s like to be drenched in his forgiveness and to have our thirst for purpose quenched by him. At GVF, we’re learning what it’s like to have his grace well up in us and overflow into the lives of others. We believe he wants our lives to be an outpouring of his life-giving grace on this community. We foresee a day when thousands of people in our community will have personally experienced the transforming grace of Christ because of our faithfulness to this vision.

BIBLICAL COMMUNITY
We envision becoming a community of loving small groups where we freely give and receive acceptance, encouragement, forgiveness, and help.
 
FRUITFUL EVANGELISM
We envision becoming a community where our overflowing gratitude to Jesus Christ and our compassion for others compels us to share the Good News of Christ with thousands, many of whom receive Him as Savior.

SPIRITUAL MATURITY
We envision becoming a community of maturing Christ followers who are being empowered by their involvement in inspiring worship services, intimate small groups, mentoring relationships, training events, and proactive service and outreach.

MEANINGFUL MINISTRY
We envision becoming a community of ministers who are being equipped for significant ministry through the discovery and development of their God-given spiritual gifts and talents.

SPONTANEOUS PRAYER
We envision becoming a community where people pray as spontaneously and naturally as they breathe, where our desire to be fully used by God is unobstructed by unbelief, independence or pride.

INTENTIONAL MULTIPLICATION
We envision becoming a community that is multiplying its network of healthy small groups and is periodically planting daughter churches locally and abroad.

GLOBAL MISSIONS
We envision becoming a community that actively participates in the global advance of the gospel by deploying short-term and career missionaries as well as prayer and financial supporters of missions.
